We realise Ravelry is the place to be. A huge network of wonderfully wolly people that share their skills and infectious passion for knitting and yarn.
With that in mind, we recently welcomed Jo to our team at Loch Ness Knit Fest. Jo is what we like to call our ‘Ravelry Guru’. She’s doing a marvellous job keeping in touch with you all on this crafting social media channel. We’re very lucky to have her!
She’s also had a neat idea to run a Knit Along (KAL/CAL). It started on the 1st of March and is running in our ‘Loch Ness Knit Fest Chat’ group as we speak. If you have the time, you are more than welcome to join in the fun!
The only rule is that patterns must be from a Scottish designer (either originally from Scotland or currently residing in Scotland).
The KAL will end on 1st May 2018 and all FOs will be an entry in our prize draw.
The prize for our KAL will be a pair of general admission tickets to the Loch Ness Knit Festival 2018 and two tickets for the Highland Feast which takes place in Inverness, 7.30pm on Saturday 20th October.
