The Crafting Village at Loch Ness Knit Fest has such a buzz, you can expect to see demonstrations, talk to local crafting enthusiasts and connect with organisations that actively promote knitting, spinning and other yarn based fun! Better still, if you see something you like the look of, you can have a go and get some tips from the experts.
In 2017 the Crafting Village hosted the Highland Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, Arm Knitters and The Scottish Women’s Institute among others.
We’ll be revealing all the Crafting Village participants at the end of March, it’s shaping up to be a bustling little village with lots to see and do, that’s for sure.
This is a space you can relax amidst the festival fun! There are comfy seats giving you a ‘lounge like’ setting to catch up with friends or meet other knitters.
While enjoying the down time you can take part in the tea tastings, sample some cakes and bakes plus other local treats!
Look out for our giant worldwide knitted map! Created by the incredible Bramley Knitting Group from London. And hop in the photo-booth to snap a photo of your Loch Ness Knit Fest Experience.
